Algebra 1: Students were allowed to take the Chapter 6 Exam one last time. I was very happy with the number of A’s this time around! Students were assigned review problems on page 435 #47-52 in class and should finish it for homework if necessary.
Pi Day is tomorrow (and Albert Einstein’s birthday!). Enjoy a slice of pie and tell your parents where pi comes from!

Algebra 1: Students will be allowed to retake the Chapter 6 exam again tomorrow. For homework, they may be finishing up the assignment in section 10.1 #1-29 odd or studying for their test retake.

Algebra 1: Students took the Chapter 6 Exam today. When they finished, they were asked to read pages 432-434 and try problems 1-29 odd beginning on pg. 434.
Engineering: No homework if your group finished making a sketch of your race car in class.
Trig: Make your 3×5 notecard for the Chapter 8 Exam. And STUDY!!!

Algebra 1: The chapter 6 test was pushed to Monday because of the drug assembly yesterday. We reviewed all types of factoring today in our review game. All test questions will come directly from the 6-8/6-9 review sheet.
Engineering: No homework.
Trig: The chapter 8 exam has been pushed to Tuesday, by student request.

Algebra 1: Factoring Trinomials Poster–students will incorporate the information in the beige box on pg. 278 into a poster that could help remind classmates how to solve these types of problems during a quiz or a test. The poster may be handmade or computer generated.
Engineering: No homework.
Trig: Review logarithm rules and come prepared to explore natural logarithms on Monday!

Algebra 1: pg. 279 #1-29 odd; do your best to factor these trinomials. Please spend 20 minutes on your math homework tonight. After 20 minutes, if you are not done, have a parent sign your homework paper and I will give you full credit. We will practice more with factoring tomorrow.

Trigonometry: pg. 449 #33-41 and pg. 450 #58-69
